Jimmy Durante, a comic from vaudeville days was popular in the 40's and 50's in movies and on television. A big part of his persona were jokes about his large nose. The show aired on Saturday evenings on NBC, and featured guest stars and Jimmy sitting at the piano singing the songs that made him famous. His half hour show ran for 51 episodes between October 2, 1954 and June 23, 1956. He ended every show by saying, "Good night, Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are!" Only one episode survives that we know about, from October of 1955.
