Every Sunday night at 10:30pm on CBS, for 17 years the program we watched was 'What's My Line.' Based in New York City, it featured host John Daly and four celebrity panelists. Guests, or contestants, would allow the panelists to ask yes or no questions, trying to devine the contestant's occupation. Every time there was a 'no' answer, the next panelist would take over the questioning, and the contestant would win five dollars, with the possibility of winning a total of fifty dollars. The show usually featured a mystery guest, during which the panel was blindfolded so that they could not recognize the mystery guest, and the mystery guest usually used a false voice to further disguise their identity.
