Terry and the Pirates

Biff Baker, U.S.A.

Colonel Terry Lee inherits a gold mine somewhere in China from his grandfather, and while searching for it he gets a job as a pilot for Air Cathay a small 'no questions asked' freighter outfit, run by a man called Chopstick Joe. The Dragon Lady is the usual villain along with her pirate henchmen, always providing danger and excitement for Terry and his co-pilot Hotshot Charlie. Beautiful blonde Burma is the love interest for Terry. Eighteen episodes were produced by the company founded by Douglas Fairbanks, and were syndicated in the U.S. beginning June 26, 1953. The shows were sponsored by Canada Dry Ginger Ale and were shown on different days and times in each city across the country.
